My admiration goes to my grandfather Antonio "El Mosquito" Camacho whom sang with Davilita and Machito......Taught me La Clave, and danced me when I was 8yrs. old and brought me from Brazil my very first Conga which I played in the streets of Tinton Avenue and E.152nd Street, Bronx, NYC at the age of 12 years old.......

I'm a native New York Puerto Rican, from the South Bronx (E. 152nd Street and Tinton Ave., also lived my first 14 years at Intervale Ave., between Westchester Ave. and E. 163rd street) living in the County of Los Angeles, I'm a professional musician have my own band (14 piece)called " Angel Lebron Y Su Sabor Latino " we play the best in NYC Classic Street Latin/Salsa Music in the West Coast, this is the music that was either heard nationally or never left the East Coast.
This concept is to bring back that real latin big band sound and appearance which everyone enjoyed, remembering the joys of our club nights especially to those of you salseros that missed the "real deal".....As we play in the clubs Sabor Latino is honoring the NYC Paladium days and the musicians that played with the Mambo Kings at that time.....Tito Puente, Tito Rodriguez, Machito, Orlando Marin, Joe Loco, Pete Terrace, Chano Pozo and many more....(Remember....)To include the Colgate Gardens, Ipanema, Tropicana Club, El Tropicoro, The Bronx Casino, Broadway Casino, Happy Hills Casino, Club Cubano, Casa Blanca, and many more great clubs which are no longer in existance...
