I am a Hip Hop DJ/Producer from Nottingham. I've been listening to Hip Hop since about 83. Before i had pubes.I used to DJ on a pirate station in notts called Heatwave for about 5 years (90-95) and the Nottingham uni radio U.R.N for about 2 years with kool aid east. I've worked with some talented people over the years. Midnyte, Cappo, Pitman, scorzazee, DJ Fever, Honey williams, nick stez, D.P.F. C-mone, def tex, Frisco-(Lost island) Lee ramsey, Quakes, Mad flow, Eastborn, Karizma, Mr45, Madd docta X, Zero theory. Thanks guys. I've also done a few shows, hosted Dj battles, Djing, as that is what i did first, i've been lucky to have been on the same shows along side, Jurassic5, Dialated people, Docta D, gunshot, caveman, Madflow, Joe Buddah, Brand Nubian, msd, Edan, Rahzel, Def Tex, Mr complex, the arsonists, Rodney P, P brothers, El fudge, Big daddy kane, Mc Duke, J live, Dj noise and supernatural (about 5 times) NOTTS JOKE. Ive been releasing material on SON Records with Alastair since it began. I've done alot of beats over the years, some good, some shit, some have ended up in games, films and television. I'm currently chilling in the fall out from the H Bomb Ep which was great to be working with Cappo again after the Directors commentry Mix Cd last year. And we're working on some more tracks too. Also starting a new radio show on Kemet FM 97.5 from Sat Feb 28th 2009 6-8 pm. Check it on the Net too. I've always loved music as i was brainwashed as a child(i've got photo's to prove it. My Mum and dad are both good musicians, my dad plays drums and my mum plays the accordian and piano, my cat does beatbox. I'm going grey but feelin pretty good. I moan alot about the shitty mist that "rap music has become". Fear not, because we have got our record collections. Vinyl. Yes. Keep hope alive. Hip Hop lives. Bongo rock, fools. Play the classics.
