All The Fires play original music which tells a tale of open roads, maps and territories, bright skies, dark seas and love lost and found. This is the music
you'd hear in the calm after the storm, combining a modern folk sentiment with a love of popular song.
The band boasts six songwriters, five singers alongside guitars, piano, cello, bass, drums, mandolin, glockenspiel and melodica, so expect lush harmonies and rich sounds.
All The Fires will be bringing their unique and heart-warming sound to venues in the South West during the coming months to support the release of 'The Map
EP'.
"‘The Map’ is a bit like being in a huge maze with beautiful trees and flowers at every turn. You know you have to find the exit eventually but part of you just doesn’t want to get there."
Wears the Trousers Magazine
"Strikingly beautiful yet bittersweet songs...their music is timeless and commercial enough to appeal to a wide audience...the songs are loveable, vibrant things. The
collection moves from the twinkling, catchy Found You (like a happy Laura Marling) to Bys Vyken, which could be a modern Cornish anthem...and the heartbreaking
The Anchor Song." The West Briton
"Talented, multi-instrumental and uniquely charming, All The Fires are a total breath of fresh air. Lush arrangements mix with Regina Spektor-esque vocals,
leaving the listener with a warm feeling deep inside." Go2 Magazine
"Music that warms the soul better than Campbell’s" Indieshows Blog
"The songs are as delicate as spider's webs in the mist and just as strong. " Fatea Magazine
Saw you guys at the Phoenix - amazing end to a great evening. You said thanks to us for sticking around, but thank you for travelling up here and staying so late yourselves. Thanks so much for the free EP, I've listened to it constantly since Sunday, 'Zugunruhe' is one of my all time favourite songs. Come to Exeter again!
Awsome show last night guys, despite the bass problems, it was a real pleasure playing with you! Just chillin out to your cd now. Hope to hook up with you again soon. All the best Si.
Really loving the stuff! As powerful as the wind but, paradoxically, with airtight production! Really beautiful.
Wish I could you see guys live (as in "live music"; not "living". Although I don't have a problem with you living; In fact: I'd rather that you WERE living than in literally ANY other state...it's just that that's not what I meant. I digress!), hopefully you'll be playing somewhere I can get to when I'm next in Kernow - or we might see you in London some time!
Hello, Thank you for the contact. I would love to see you at the Sandy on the 1st but I have a meeting. Maybe next time. I shall send a request for you to come onto my anntuatha music site later. Love the voice and the music. Best wishes, An
