Influences
Well, cribbage for one. Definitely some Saint Ides. Chili Peppers. Chuck Berry. Queens of the Stone Age. Tenacious D. Toots & the Maytals for that rawness. A lil bit of Beatles for some spice....a little bit of the stones for some attitude....a little bit of James Brown for the groove....a little bit of Syd Barret for the catastrophic mental breakdown due to acid consumption...and a little bit of Tripmaster Monkey, just because.
This band comes together in three distinct and equally important sections.
1- The great guitar team of "Silence is Goldie" AKA Sam (Goldie) and Chris (Silence)... the duo separated due to a discrepancy between the true height of the late Godfather of Soul James Brown, wherein Chris spent a year traveling across the United States furthering his cause of disproving the occurence of the Great Chicago Fire of 1871; Sam just stayed at home and chilled out for a while. However the duo eventually reconciled and reemerged onto the music scene with the promise of a rhythm section... and Andrei.
2- The Vocal/Bass partnership of Andrei and Grey was originally established in the Latin-Rock supergroup "Enrique & the Mystery Boys," although Andrei was kicked out of the band for gratuitous use of the phrase "Are You Ready to Rock?" Grey continues to work with both bands and is best known for his mastery of the mystical brown notes. all 8 of them.
3- Finally, we found Demeo on the street, and since he seemed kinda cute in an aimless way, and because the vet said that he didn't have any contagious diseases, we decided to give him a nice warm home. YAY DEMEO!
