Shooting To Kill (T-Shirt)
All Things Lucid dig up the roots of rock n' roll and folk and twist them into a new raw shape that walks tall and apologizes to no one. Creating music that simultaneously makes cowboy boots stomp the floor boards and chucks dance in twisted rhythmic movements is no easy task, but All Things Lucid does it quite well.
It's rumored that each of the boys were born with a bottle of whiskey and an instrument in each hand, and raised on vinyl collections that would even make the indie kids proud. The story goes, after a long night of card playing at a local Chicago dive, the young men found themselves clutching their whiskey and arguing over which blues players have had the most impact on rock 'n' roll. Realizing their common love and hate for each other, they decided to put their arguments aside, pick up their instruments, and start creating music worth fighting for. So Miles started plucking his strings, and soon Mike and Jeff followed on their instruments. The rest as they say is history, sort of...
Filling Chicago's infamous Hideout past capacity, All Things Lucid debuted their first full length album Suburbs on the Moon (Kilo Records) on August 10th, 2007, leaving behind a footprint that Chicago will not soon forget.

K so I just wanted to invite you and any of your friends to check out The Spirit of Andy Devine at CD baby, and get some free downloads as well...because anybody who buys a copy of my CD through CD baby will get two free MP3s emailed to them as soon as I see their name on my CDBaby report. The free MP3s are early rough demos of songs being considered for my next CD project. Sure it's shameless commerce... but I got lots of CDs to sell if I'm going to get the ready cash to make the next one, you know? And really, it's dang cheap, so why not? I ask you. So... there you go. Stay happy!
