Previously, we had a range of different influences, which were all responsible for the sound that we maintained. With time comes changes... sometimes the changes are good, sometimes they're bad. This time, the changes are good. We've decided to go back to our roots and draw upon the Melodic Hardcore grooves of California. Our most influential bands are:
The Offspring, The Bouncing Souls, NOFX, Bad Religion, Rancid(but not their new shit... 'cause I think it's shit), and Pennywise.

Sounds Like
Well, we've definetely got a sound that makes us feel like we belong on the West Coast, simply because we play West Coast Punk. If you don't know what that is, it's very simple: melodic hardcore. We believe that this sound is more "punk" than traditional punkrock because it shows that we have the balls to have melodic undertones while maintaining a hardcore groove.
All Up In Arms is the product of three years of hard work and determination. We decided to change our band name in December '08 because we felt that it would reflect upon our growth as a band, as individuals AND as a response to the current sociopolitical climate that's slowly being washed away (oh yeah... don't forget about the fucked up social norms that are still around... we hate 'em too). One huge way that we've grown is that the band isn't one-sided anymore. Everyone has a say. In an effort to keep things familiar, we kept some aspects from our old logo, but clearly, it too is different. We released an album called "Soldiers of the Living Dead" back in April, and it's on sale for just 5 bucks, and you can either buy it from us or at Looney Tunes Records in West Babylon, NY!!!
