Here at All WNY Radio, our mission is to promote the scene and Western New York to the region and the world, in hopes of providing an outlet for the amazing talent we see all around us. First, we play all local music and shows, 24-7-365. Second, we promote local concerts, sponsor local events, and archive as much as possible of the entertainment to rebroadcast to the world, in an effort to showcase the region we love so much.

Following the success of Rage 2009 Night-Life Magazine is pleased to announce that Rage On The Stage , the battle of the bands, is again ready to roll. The first show takes place on February 16, 2010. This year's battle of the bands event is being co-sponsored by Drastic Booking and Sonic Indian Productions and will be held at Broadway Joe’s, 3051 Main St., Buffalo, NY., every Tuesday from February 16, 2010 until Friday April 30, 2010.
This weekly event features 3 original music bands from all over WNY. All shows begin at 8pm. All bands will play a 45 minute set that has to be mostly comprised of original music. Each band will be judged by Four Criteria. No.1 - Musicianship; No.2 - Stage Presence; No.3 - Originality and No.4 - Audience Participation. This is a battle where how well you play, look and act is just as important as bringing the most fans. Rage On The Stage will run for 13 weeks with semi-final rounds taking place in weeks #4(02/02), #8(04/06), #12(05/04). The Finals will take place on Friday May 14th with the semi-final winners and a wild card. Just a note, last years' 2009 Rage On The Stage was won by the wild card band Robots Are Thieves.
The grand prize will be awarded at The Finals. The first place winner will receive a recording package from Soundwave Studios, 820 Dodge Rd. Getsville, NY 14068 (348-4993). The package consists of three days recording, editing, packaging, and production with a value of $1250.00. The CD will be sent out to major record labels, and receive a feature story in a local magazine. Second place is a musical prize package with a value of $750 from Paramount Music located at 894 Brighton Rd. Tonawanda, NY 14150 (835-1500). The Third place winner will receive an Audio / Photo Package

Hey man, Totally badass night in Buffalo last night! Three bars totally down for Folk Night and or more shows. Trudor Lounge, Nietzchies and on that i think is called Allentown spirits. They've all heard Noah so at least we have something to go off of and talked some hard dates starting next month. Lets talk this week. Also! if you could track out a couple choice, barworthy cuts from that recording we got last weekend that would be great just so we can have a hard copy for the bars to listen to.
