Yes! I'm absolutely thrilled to tell you that I am currently hard at work on the fourth Gallagher Girls book! I don't have a title or a release date yet, but as soon as I do I'll post it ASAP.
How many Gallagher Girl novels will there be?
The general plan is to to a total of 6 books--a book a semester for Cammie's sophomore, junior, and senior years of high school. That's always subject to change, of course. The only thing I know for sure is that I will write however many books it takes to tell the story well.
Do you think you'll ever write any more books besides the Gallagher Girl books?
Yes! I'm soooo happy because I actually just sold the first book in what I hope will be a new series. It's about a girl who comes from a family of high-end conmen and thieves and the harder she tries to leave the family business the more they pull her back in. Everyone keeps calling it "Ocean's 11 meets Veronica Mars" (which suits me just fine!) It will be in stores in February of 2010!
Is there really going to be a Gallagher Girls movie?
That's actually a very complicated question, that is probably best answered by "maybe". In the last four years there have been several interested parties in Hollywood, but there is no movie "in production" at this time. If and when that changes I will share the news ASAP.
Where/how can I try out for the movie?
I'm afraid I don't really have any information on that. I probably won't get any either, but if I do I'll post it here and on AllyCarter.com.
Are you going on tour anytime soon? Will you come to my city?
The answer is no. And maybe.

Do you have any advice for aspiring writers?
The two best things any writer can do are read a lot and write a lot! Also, don't worry about getting your book or story perfect the first time--just keep writing. It takes a lot of work and practice, but when you've written something you like, there's no greater feeling.

i am kimberley i am in grade 10 i live in Australia and absoullutely love your books i have read all 3 already and i am dying to read the upcoming sequels my favourite characters are bex and zach !! i really enjoyed the first book with josh in it ...it kinda showed how hard it was for cammie to be a normal teenage girl !!
i am also curious as if u had ever thought about turning the books into a movie !! all i can say is i would pay to see those movies i believe they would be fantastic !!

I saw a "demand it" thing on your profile about coming to Eagle River Alaska... I think it would be cool if you came and did a book signing in Anchorage Alaska. =) if I knew about it I'd come! I LOVED the "Dont Judge A Girl By Her Cover" I cant wait to see what happens next! lol. I can totally see these books as a whole movie series! Anyway, yeah I loved the new book!

So as you know a lot people want to know if there is going to be GG4 and if yes please tell us when is coming out because let me to tell you that i cant stop thinking about the GG books i love all three and also the GG4 book im going to love even more i want to know how things are going to be between cammie and zach they are so cute together i hope you can least give us a little bit and plus i also want to know if those people were really after cammie and not her friend omg i think im going to die if i dont soon read GG4 and is not even out yet LoL =)

I just LOVE the Gallagher Girl books they are wayy wayy wayyy better than the twilight books. i took this test that said whitch GG are you and it said that i am cammie and i really do feel like cammie in real life (not the spy part though) because im not really noticed that much only by my true best friends!!!! these books are the best books i have ever read and i dont ever want to put them down. not until my mom tells my to clean or something but i will read and clean my room at the same time!!!! i really think that this should become a movie it would be the best movie ever and i would watch it until the cd burns out then go buy another one!!!! i would watchi it unil i knew every single word to it becuase thats how much i love the GG books!!! it would be really awesome if i got to play in the movie but i know that would never happen!!!!:( i hope you have more coming!!!!! thank you so much for writing these books i love them to death!!!!
