I don't really have much to say about myself. I'm a person and I like all sorts of things. I'm very glad you came to listen to my music. Someday I'll have better recordings, I promise. Just not today, I'm sure. I still don't have real recording equipment.
In all seriousness, though - I'm not sure what to tell you about myself that you can't find in my songs.
i read something to that affect somewhere on the web... when's your next show??? i would love to 'attend' ^_^ San Diego is groovy! i still need another job though... but i have tons of friendly acquaintances now! like a WHOLE BUNCH! and it's great :-D
and i'm seeing spring awakening on saturday. for free. stage-side. with the cast!
life is great! i leave for san diego two weeks from today. i just did some rough math, and after i send this advance on rent and pay off the bank, i'll only have around $300 by the time i get out there.... it's freaking me out a little bit.
but i'll be damned if it's going to stop me from making this work.
speaking of: tonight is my last shift at the restaurant. they had a little farewell shin-dig for me last night.
one of my co-workers compared herself to a crying cow on top of a lonely hill :(
your demo cd is still my night-time default. (your voice sings me to sleep most nights.... or, rather, i sing along with you until i am no longer conscious)
Hi Allye, Ive been listening and Must say your music is sounding very smooth and pleasing to the ear. Keep up the good work Ill be listening and I know a lot of others will be as well.
oh and by the way your music is absolutely beautiful! I remember listening to it a while ago and enjoying it a lot, but I feel like there is stuff on here I haven't heard yet. It really sounds wonderful, your voice is so smooth and unique and lovely.
Argyle anything is pretty fantastic in my book, so I wouldn't judge you for combining the socks with the shoes. I used to have a pair of argyle slip ons and they were probably my favorite sneakers I ever had. I'm glad that you share my desire for human connection... I think the idea of looking through my friends list on this thing and only recognizing about 1 out of 5 people frightened me a little bit. I noticed that you are from Grand Rapids! I'll be there next weekend recording and playing a show so if you have nothing better that would be awesome to see ya there! I won't hold you to it though, I think the actual show is in Allendale, and sometimes that place can be a drag for some.
