About me:

I do not use this account regularly, so if you wish to contact me, please find me on Facebook, Google+, or e-mail. I am an aspiring writer, photographer, musician, overall artist. Born and raised in Texas, moving to Lebanon for university. I'm hoping to live there long enough to become fluent in Arabic and perfect my French.

Interests

Music
I play ukulele and viola. (with a bit of piano skills and guitar abilities, but nothing fancy. oh, and I used to play violin and bass guitar.) I'm also a "singer" I guess. I was in musical theater for 75% of my life. I write songs and melodies, and sometimes muster some full-fledged compositions.
Movies
I am a photographer, and I'm quite decent at it. My photos can be found on my online portfolio website as well as my deviantART, all of which are listed on my Facebook.
Television
I should also mention I'm interested in many, many things. I always keep myself updated with world news, and I love learning about politics (though it does infuriate me when applied to real life). I am fascinated by the human brain and psychology. I spend a lot of my free time wondering about philosophy and religion. Mythology is beautiful to me. I love to travel and learn about new cultures. Fashion is also fun for me (I actually have a polyvore account and update it regularly), and I love magazines. And obviously, I love EVERYTHING art related. I love paintings, prints, mosaics, sculptures, architecture, anything created with your hands...
Books
I'm a poet and a fiction writer. I'm an avid reader. I strongly admire writers from the Victorian period (and I also really like the Modern period). I actually have a weird talent for understanding art... give me work by William Shakespeare, and I will understand the text without old language dictionaries... give me a poem, and I will be able to interpret it easily... etc. etc. So I'm proud of that. I also have a very good talent for editing other works by my friends, which I love to do. Maybe someday I will be able to have a job that involves writing...
