The inherent beauty and soul fullness of her voice lends itself to all styles of music. Allyson hails from Santa Rosa, California where where her roots in classic rock fed a versatility in many music genres including blues, jazz and alternative country. Allyson has preformed at many Bay Area clubs including Slims, Bimbos 365, Great American Music Hall, The Sweetwater Saloon, The Last Day Saloon, and The MysticTheater to name a few.
Allyson counts Etta James, Aretha Franklin, Joni Mitchell, Linda Ronstadt, The Beatles, Elton John, CSN&Y, and The Rolling Stones among her major influences, and their lagacies resonate throughout her music. Allyson first made a splash as the featured lead vocalist for The Chris Cobb Band of San Francisco. In addition to working with songwriters Alex Call (Huey Lewis, Pat Benatar) and Andre Pessis (Bonnie Raitt, Mr.Big), she has also performed with blues artists like Angela Strehli, Tommy Castro, Sista Monica, Roy Rogers, and Norton Buffalo.
