Alma De Candela (Soul of Fire) started at the beginning of 2006 and since then has grown to be known as the premiere 'Orquesta Latina' in the Upstate. The band had been the headliner for the Make a Wish Foundation's Greenville International Wine Festival for 4 years running, and will return as the headliner for the 2009 Festival and will be the headliner at Carolina Jazz! in Hartsville, SC October 3rd, 2009. Alma de Candela performs once a month on the 2nd Sunday of each month at Mojito's on Main in Downtown Greenville, SC.
