Born and raised in San Francisco, started on guitar and bass, played saxophone/clarinet in high school jazz band/orchestra. Attended USMA West Point, played keyboards in R&B band around NY area and bass in Gospel Choir. Served in Army at Ft. Benning, GA, played keyboards in local bands in Columbus, GA, music director for radio talent shows. Moved to Atlanta, co-founded international R&B touring group Absence of Color. Toured 11 countries, co-produced album for BMG in Germany. Reunited with West Point classmate and Dartmouth College Gospel Choir director Walt Cunningham - co-produced his debut album, "I Feel the Spirit," and performed at the New Orleans Jazz Festival, Lincoln Center in NY, and two Switzerland/Italy tours. Worked on new albums by Chico DeBarge and Joe Thomas (Billboard Top 10 Pop), released summer 2009. Chicago supergroup is in the works, as well as more R&B and gospel productions.
