   About Al Mitchell
Al Mitchell is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from Paisley, Scotland who writes, produces and releases his own material.

His style has been described as "a cross between Jack Johnson and Bob Marley"(Dr Alex Payne).

Al has produced music that has been featured on major TV programmes in the UK such as BBC1 'Saturday Show', Scottish Television 'Nochd Gun Chadal' and MTV show 'Real World', as well as radio airplay in over 30 countries.

You can now buy Al's long overdue debut solo album 'Crackerjack' at Fuzz.com

Al also plays Bass with acclaimed Glasgow songsmith Ally Kerr and has just completed bass duties on Ally's second album which is due for release April 08. The first single from the album is called 'Could have been a contender' and was released on April 30th 2007 to rave reviews in the press and considerable radio airplay. Check it out on Ally's myspace page from the top friends link further down the page.

If you're out near Paisley on a Thursday night you should check out Al's open mic night at the Crow Bar in Shuttle Street. You'll hear some great talent and if you're a performer you get the opportunity to be recorded and get a free live CD of your set. Al records all the performers and offers them a free CD the following week if they want it. Starts 9pm. Be there early if you want to play.

We will be playing at The Bon Accord on North St, Glasgow 12/01/08. The gig is free so all you've got to do is get yourself there. As well as us you will be able to catch Acoustic Butterfly and Andy ( Lead Singer from Blind Pew) + more. We will be on the back of nine. So hope to see you there. Paul ( The LoneSome Hearts)

Al mate how you doing? We've been recording lately with a 16-track zoom desk we purchased. In fact I wouldn't mind picking your brain on a couple of maters i'm having with it. Anyway, i've added our first attempt so have a listen. Lets have a beer soon, get in touch.

All the best for 08, hope you're well
