Al Mitchell is a Singer/Songwriter/Guitarist from Paisley, Scotland who writes, produces and releases his own material.
His style has been described as "a cross between Jack Johnson and Bob Marley"(Dr Alex Payne).
Al has produced music that has been featured on major TV programmes in the UK such as BBC1 'Saturday Show', Scottish Television 'Nochd Gun Chadal' and MTV show 'Real World', as well as radio airplay in over 30 countries.

Al also plays Bass with acclaimed Glasgow songsmith Ally Kerr and has just completed bass duties on Ally's second album which is due for release April 08. The first single from the album is called 'Could have been a contender' and was released on April 30th 2007 to rave reviews in the press and considerable radio airplay. If you're out near Paisley on a Thursday night you should check out Al's open mic night at the Crow Bar in Shuttle Street. You'll hear some great talent and if you're a performer you get the opportunity to be recorded and get a free live CD of your set. Al records all the performers and offers them a free CD the following week if they want it. Starts 9pm. Be there early if you want to play.
