Al Moroccan Lodge (Syracuse, New York) was chartered on February 26, 2006 (though actually in existence for years before) under the Lodge of the Sons and Daughters of Aaron within the Ancient and Primitive Rite of Memphis-Mizraim (Egyptian Rite Freemasonry).

The charter for Al Moroccan Lodge was presented to the Master of the Lodge, Khalid El Bey (of Syracuse) by Rt. Rev. T Allen Bar Kohenim Greenfield, D.D. 33° 90° 95°.

On October 20, 2007, Khalid El Bey was ordained sub-Deacan, Deacan, Priest and was further consecrated a Bishop of Apostolic and Gnostic Succession within the Ecclesia Gnostica Universalis (Universal Gnostic Church) by Tau Sir Hasirim (Bishop Allen Greenfield) in the presence of three(3) other Gnostic Bishops on top of Mount Arabia in Atlanta Georgia.

Gnostic from ,'gnosis', which means "knowledge" or "scientific illumination".
