The Almost Acoustic Band's debut performance was in February of 2002 in Jensen Bch, FL. In the bands short-lived 2 years of playing and touring together, they performed over 200 shows along the East Coast. AAB was a trio made up of Billy Gilmore (Banjo, Fiddle, Mandolin, Guitar, Dobro, Vocals), Josh Foster (Piano, Bass, Organ, Keys, Vocals), and Brent Hopper (Guitar, Mandolin, Vocals). Fusing many influences together ie: Bluegrass, Reggae, Jazz, Blues, Swing, and Instrumental songs and tunes, they quickly gained interest.
They got together again to record on Brittany Reilly's debut self-released CD 'Good Old Country Sound' in the Fall of 2007 and changed up the line-up a bit. They are on the road full time supporting Brittany on stage now and doing around 150 shows a year supporting the new release which came out March 1st...

you guys are great! I saw you guys at mag fest(I think)last year. I was goin to see peter rowan and I walked by the old Florida stage and there you guys were(Brittany had lost her voice?).I stayed and watched you guys. We actually talked for a minute behind the amphitheater later that day,I know y'all are busy but we were trying to get y'all to come to Jacksonville. Maybe soon!!! WOW your band is Awesome!!! Brittany you've accomplished so much since the last time I saw you... also congrats on being married :) I'm taking "the plunge" myself next spring LOL!!! Good luck on your tour!!! And remember, you're already Super Stars!!!
