With influences ranging from hard-rock bands such as Escape the Fate and Avenged Sevenfold, to pop-punk bands
like Blink-182 and Sum 41, the Austin based quartet, Almost Eve, is rapidly carving it's own spot in the Austin
music scene. In late 2005, four friends came together to create Almost Eve, Formerly known as Turncoat, playing
at a high school battle of the bands. Since then, they have taken up many more opportunities to perform on stage.
Almost Eve has been gaining applause and respect along the way. Voted as one of the top ten bands under 20 in Texas
on an online voting forum earned the band a gig at the Dallas International Guitar Festival. The serious approach the
band members use to write their songs allow for a very diverse audience. This year Almost Eve is releases their newest E.P.
entitled, Left For Dead. Almost Eve has also been featured on two compilation CD's; The LBM Music Zine spring compilation,
released in the U.S. the U.K. and Japan, and the LBM Music Zine Summer Warped Tour Compilation released in the U.S. Chris Coyne's
upbeat riffs and whaling solos, the thunder of Alex Schott's drums and Jordan Davis' driving bass lines along with
Isaac Rodriguez's belting vocals unite the driving force that is Almost Eve.
