After years of working menial jobs, accruing copious amounts of debt, and toiling under the guise of anonymity, the members of Almost Free are emerging from relative seclusion to announce their magnanimous presence to the world. Like the voices of the Sirens, seductively enrapturing the ears of seafaring travelers, the music from the "first great band of the Obama years" beckons to a generation of disillusioned youth, calling them back to a time when a song could offer temporary relief from the tedium and ennui of day to day monotony. Their upcoming LP, Modern Mistakes, is a colorful compendium rife with salacious sounds, mesmerizing melodies, and vivacious verse that actively engages listeners and begs them to posit their own existential questions.
