Alright, lets do this :) I'm coming up on the last stretch of school. I have this current 8 week term then a 2 week Christmans/New Year break. After that it is pedal to the metal until graduation of October 2009!!!! I'm sooooo stoked to get finished and hop into a career. Huh, it's funny, the word career. So many people I know have jobs and I have always had the same, but to look on the horizion and see a line of work that I will enjoy doing for the duration is amazing. I mean just think about it, getting into a job and actually wanting to stay there as long as you possibly can. Not have a single doubt in your mind that it will become boring or redundant. Then at the end of the day when you goto the store to pick up some odds and ends and you look on the shelf, there it is. A product with your name in the credits, a product that because of you and your team is on the shelf....man I just can wait!
I pretty much spend most of my time with school work or just kind of hanging out, right now I am really amazed with my wifes amount of go energy, she literally never stops....I think in her sleep she is preparing for the next day and just hasn't told me yet. I will say this though, Thank You Lyndz :) for introducing me to the wonderful world of Scuba Diving. It cannot be described in words but I'll give it my best shot, serenity, adventure, breath taking, peacefulness, complete utter paradise...I only wish we could afford to go more often...COME ON GRADUATION :) :)
I really enjoy friends, there is nothing like a good friend to share the best and worst times of your life. I think the best part is when they just pop on by totally unannounced, we have a open door policy here at our house *in the middle of the street* which is that if we are home you are welcome....now if we don't answer the door we're "occupied" so go away but most of the time during the day we're good lol. I am really fortunate to have such great friends actually and of the people that I've grown up with and I am still close to, well those I am most fortunate for :)
Music
At the moment I'm really enjoying Metallicas ne album as well as most new rock. But besides that if it's on Rock Band I'll make an attempt..at least once anyway...I'm good for anything and believe it or not even a little country, well as long as it's not about my mothers' cousin's brothers' wife who was his second child.
Movies
Some of my all time favorites are the Bad Boys Series, Lord Of The Rings, The Bourne Series, The Italian Job, and Ice Age. I'll admit I even enjoy some chick flicks but don't tell anyone lol ;)
Television
I really don't watch to much TV to be honest, but I can't turn down a good episode of CSI: Miami, House, Law and Order, The Unit, and One Tree Hill
Books
Well right now, it's pretty much what my professors want me to read.....which are currently Advanced Character Design and Development, Microsoft Project 2007, and Practical Project Management. However I promised Lyndz I'd read "The Dance Of Fear" and I really need to so I don't go back on a pinky swear!!!
Heroes
Well I really need to give someone more props that is already on the list and that is Momma...however she is doing much better now. The radiation treatments totally screwed her up and they stopped and now she is taking PUVA treatments. While every day is still a battle she is looking much better. She has more guts and gusto than almost anyone I know, she is a rock of a person and it is amazing how much will power she has left in her. I love you momma and you'll finish this fight with a positive end I know it :) I'm going to add a little statement here as I think it's due. Now that I look at things on a wider scale and sit back to take it all in, I want to give a quick thanks to all of my good friends. You guys really could be considered a hero as in times of happiness, doubt, glory, or misery you have been there to both enjoy the moment or lift my spirits and really bring me back on my feet.
Now to the rest...Marcus Fenix, Master Chief, Leeroy Jenkins, and Buzz Light-Year.....Well as far as famous people...not really any of them. I think that your "hero's" should be someone you know on a personal level, not something you saw on TV or read in a book, but someone you learn about on a daily basis and truly know who they are on the inside. There are 3 people for me, my mother for countless reasons and also because she puts up with my dad, lol. My brother Billy, he passed away when I was 13 and I miss him every day, he really taught me to value the time you do have with people because you never know when that time is up.
And last but totally NOT least, my other half, a.k.a. Snoogie. Yeah I know mushy mushy but in reality without Lyndsey I could not be who I am today, she has taught me more about myself then I thought was possible and we will share the rest of our lives together, but thats not enough time to show how grateful I am, even when I am just a pain in her butt!

About me: Well hello again :) time for another update I guess, and this time around I am like most of you who are watching in complete distraught as the nation we live in is falling apart. However, there is hope in the future I believe and it is branded by the name Barack Obama. His plan seems well thought out and very executable, and his background is more then understanding. I pray that on super Tuesday his name comes out on top.
This current economic situation makes me realize just how important financial planning is and in the future how it will be of bigger importance in our planning. Both the wife and I agree we weren't prepared for this downfall and it is a combination of out part and the countries. But from here we move on and up to bigger better things.
Who I'd like to meet: I'd like to sit down with a couple of people right now. First off is John McCain and I'd like to ask him one simple question. If he can't decide how he wants to run his campaign, then how the hell does he think he'll know how to run an entire country?
Secondly is Cliff Bleszinski, he is the design director for the game development company Epic Games in Cary, North Carolina. He is most famous for his continuing hand in the development of the Unreal franchise and the Gears of War franchise (hence my background). Another interesting tidbit about Cliffy B is that he cites Shigeru Miyamoto as his biggest influence, which is someone who I also greatly respect. If you want to check out more info on Cliff then check out his site at, www.cliffyb.com
So there you have it the two people I'd like to just sit down and have a chat over a cold beverage.
