Almost There has been going strong for the past 3 years. All of the guys teach music for a living and they're super dedicated to their instruments and their band. They are known for their infectious and intricate songs that all have the potential to be their next single. Their masterful guitar arrangements and their Spot on drum and bass parts are the perfect compliment to their melodic two and three part harmonies.
Almost There's latest EP "Open Up" has been getting a lot of local attention, and it has also landed them opening slots for bands like Last Perfect Thing and the best Sublime tribute in the country - BADFISH. The cd has gotten them stints as the house band at the Stone Pony all summer '07 and part of the winter as well. Besides doing countless shows at The Pony, the band has done concerts all up and down the northeast, and they've been gathering fans by the masses all the while.
This year has been a great one for the band so far. They've already opened up for national acts like Pete Francis from Dispatch, and they got the chance to open up for Badfish once again. This time they graced the stage at The Starland Ballroom to a sold out crowd of 2500 people!! They're currently in the studio right now laying down tracks to their latest songs and revamping some old songs too. They've been recently attracting attention from multiple major labels, and with the luck that 2008 has been bringing the band, alongside their hard work and determination, this is surely their year. Undeniably, Almost There is the anthem for our generation and it's only a matter of time before everyone else realizes it.

hey guys! we perform TONIGHT (Saturday) at the Stone Pony to raise money for SURFRIDER FOUNDATION and to support the surf movie premier of "OUT THERE" by Teton Gravity. The Billabong bus will be there along with Sobe drinks, Board Luv and more! SURFBOARD GIVEAWAYS!!!
