Sounds LikeIt starts on the outside... the spreading smile, the tapping foot, the shivering spine. Then it moves inside... the lump in your throat, the racing pulse, the punch in your gut. Finally it leaves you... soothed, moved, inspired. Hooked. AloneMe... once discovered, never forgotten.

“A confident and instant collection… surely mainstream radio play awaits.” (Musician Magazine)

"bittersweet pop...they make it seem easy. AloneMe should be around for a long time" (Kilkenny People)

   About AloneMe

4 outstanding musicians... 3 breathtaking voices... 2 incredible songwriters... 1 unforgettable band...

AloneMe is the finely tuned songwriting partnership of singer Sarah Springett and singer/guitarist David Booth, plus drummer/programmer Simon Edgoose and singer/multi instrumentalist Liz Townsend.

The band has gigged constantly since their inception as a trio, with shows from London to Dublin, Brighton to Newcastle and all points in between. The move to a four piece came in 2007 and the AloneMe sound as we now know it, was born. The hard work is paying off and their reputation as a must-see live band is growing rapidly.

'Sketch' is the band's first full studio album, recorded during 2006/7 with sought-after producer Nigel Stonier and backed by The Escalator Project. Released in the UK in 2008, it comprises 10 outstanding tracks showcasing the trademark AloneMe strengths of fine songwriting, cutting lyrics, killer harmonies and classic pop hooks. p>

With a fantastic album in the bag, new material coming thick and fast, and a loyal and ever expanding fanbase, 2009 will surely see AloneMe make the kind of international breakthrough they deserve.
