This is not Cedric Octor's first experience of schizophrenic double cleavage. Today he changes location and moves around as Ashley. Long after the moment he started into music as a bass player for Nil, a coldwave young hidden mythological band, it is around 1998 that he unexpectedly fastens back the instrument, and without warning gives it away to a friend. For years, he then starts to focus entirely on inspired deejaying, while more energically than ever dedicating to what he..s always done, the organization of music venues. This is how he tries to push on and give visibility to the large panorama of music he..s fond of, from post-rock eletrowave, not forgetting i.d.m.

In 2005, boosted and enriched by all these encounters and networking, he is ready to come back to his first dedication, composition : ASHLEY is born. Is the project electro, techno, pop or dark ? No need to ask. The coldwave reminiscences strike through electropop. Ashley pours off disarranged feelings and stirs people into provocative onirism as well as digital incorrect hypnosis. Still, in 2006, Octor doesn't wash out his vinyls and sticks to his deejaying for dancefloor activities, as well as he initiates PANACHE AREA, a structure settled in Marseille, France, through which he continues to organize original events and venues.
September 2007 PANACHE AREA is died & KAUGUMMI is born : Designed to organize events related to electronic music and produce vinyl recordings, KAUGUMMIMUSIC.COM is an independant structure created on september 2007.
