"Look Beyond's music is unique, but with a definite Red Hot Chili Peppers/Sublime flavor. I had to find out more about these guys, so I shot them an email and the next thing I knew, I was in their self-described "junky" practice space (which really wasn't too bad) with a drummer, a bassist, and a very small, very friendly dog named Sassy. I spent the afternoon talking with drummer Ryan Dodd and bassist Lance Jones about cabbage, comic books, and good rock music."

From different corners of Asheville, the stellar members of Look Beyond create a musical experience that stimulates all of the emotions, and gives the listener a reason to come back to listen again. With a catchy rock background and a funky interest, Look Beyond creates tunes that are catchy, fun, and have something to say.
Drummer Ryan Dodd has gained fame from many bands, more well known are Unscathed, Arizona Bay, and the Timothy project. Ryan's extensive background in rhythm with drums and bass guitar allow him to consider crucial points when creating grooves.
Stephen Fesperman is a virtuoso who takes the technical side of guitar and infuses it with his soul. He is well known for his time with Unscathed and Bull Rush. His skill in so many guitar styles makes Look Beyond an eclectic band that doesn't stray too far from the point.
Lance Jones, L.A. Jones, Luxurious Jones, whatever you want to call him, is the uber awesome bassist. His grooves are easy to identify, and his local fame is with passed groups Alone At Last and Einstein's Dream. Ask anyone who has seen him live in any band, and you'll hear "it's a great show."
Vocalist Myers Gilmer, who performed with the group Lecivious, seems to be a down to earth guy, until he has a mic in his hands. You can see the raw emotions coming from his voice, and his style is that of a concerned man with style. Many have said, "There is nothing Myers can not do on the microphone," and in this reporters humble opinion, that is correct!
Pop one of these into YOUR myspace!!! Look how stylish it is!
