Mid-late 2005- early 2008:
CUNHABAND, mostly solo recordings, occasional outside input. Musical chairs. Occasional posted online tracks, gave the illusion of functional band.
Mid-but-still-early 2008 to early 2009:
CUNHABAND starts playing out mostly in the Western Mass area, after failed attempts at growing mustaches and heavy consumption of lint.
Early 2009:
CUNHABAND name dropped in favor of ALOTTLE. Much rejoicing.
ALOTTLE operations are currently located in downtown Holyoke, inside of a warehouse unfit to hold any self-respecting recording enthusiast. Live-wise, we are available for any social function in any electrically-powered structure.
ALOTTLE OF THE WOODS (soundtrack forthcoming....):RELATED VIDEO (original music by E.Cunha):
TO ANSWER THE PREVIOUS.. I DID RECORD (ALOTTA) SHTUFF WHILE I WAS IN PHILLY. A FRIEND HAS IT ON HIS TWELVE TRAK. WHEN I GET BACK THERE I WILL TAKE THEM OFF AND SHARE. TAKE CARE OF THAT HAND. LOOOOONG COMMMMENNNNNTTTTTTTTTTT
I met Azwan. Then I saw him play. Then I had an interview at The U-Mass radio station about my page here, and Conduit (Azwan's band) happened to be playing in studio that day. THEN I saw Azwan play solo at The Bishop's Open Mic night with Lord Russ. He was amazing! I couldn't wait to see him again. I told people this. And people then told me that he made a movie. A MOVIE! So I asked Azwan how to acquire this "movie". He sent me one and HOLY SHIT it was great.
I immediately became inspired to put on my second ~Local Media~ show/media presentation with this film as the highlight and main attraction of the evening. Azwan said, "Cool". He has screened this movie only once before and YOU are about to experience the brilliance and hilarity for yourselves July 25th at The Eleven's.
Join us and eat free f-ing popcorn! It's in a BAR. Order BEERS and DRINKS while you watch the movie. What more could this world offer? I'll tell you.
4 local bands and a special appearance from "Young Wee". Young Wee is the character in the movie who's life it is about, (being a thug in the "Herst", and is the artist who dominates the soundtrack to Azwan's movie, "Off Da Chain".
THIS is going to be fun, funny, dance..able, drunken, and ~Local Media~ and Azwan's first collaboration in Northampton. BE THERE! 8PM for the movie, and 10PM BANDS!
i'm stunned by your creative juice. i can't stop listening, and yet i'm repelled. why am i repelled? i can't stop thinking about how you might have gone the "other way," all stuck up on yourself for having true musical influences, which invariably translates to snobbery. good for you. all things balance out.
any person wearing a hat that is sad has no reason to be sad, good riddance I say. And cake is the very reason of the onset of 60% T2D in villages in india, I'm doing that kid a favor
For days now, I've been trying to think of the pattern of letters in your song titles:
"Yr", as in "Yr Sweet" probably refers to "you're".
"You", as in "You Boat", as in "U-Boat", as in "Undersea-Boat".
I suppose with any language, the words are arbitrary, except to avoid ambiguity; it is desirable to avoid people from thinking you meant "You Boat Sweet", as it is also undesirable to have your fans eating submarines.
yeah man. you should hear the entire "album" some time. you on keys and beats, me on banjo, and bill striking whatever was near him with drumsticks. ahh those were the days indeed. it flows like 10 minutes of rediculous crap then 20 or 30 seconds of comedic triumph. then back to the crap. rinse. repeat.
