Dinamoe is on the run and with this one he definitely raises the stakes. After his succes on 9volt-musik and the fabulous remix for the recent Broombeck strike on Opossum Recordings, we put this bouncer into the game.
At first glance, the A side track seems to be „just another minimalistic groove tool“ - but better be careful with a snap judgement as „Stakes“ carries shitloads of funkyness inside, it cant be true!
Opposite to that, B1 „Maceo“ is the pure funk and transports huge early 80s hip hop vibes, as if Grandmaster Flash will step around the corner with his Furious Five every moment and grab the mic to drop some nasty rhymes onto this beat, while B2 „Triple“ is more a funky stomper with quite a housey attitude.
Without a doubt a coulourful selection, each track creates a completely different mood but in the end its all just about dope funk shit. Check it!

After a little break, Christian Hoffmann - lately more involved as a part of the ambitious Abonné project (OPSM) is back for good with a butt moving techno house smasher, programmed together with Toni Vokado.
Some of you may still know Toni from his infamous "Audioworker EP" and few more phat and headstrong releases and remixes on Monika Kruses label Electric Avenue few years ago.
Rico Henschel a.k.a. SweetN.Candy delivers a incredible epic 10 minutes interpretation of "The People" with the obvious intention to make the peebs go mad. Enjoy!

With its second release, the young Berlin based label Alpaca Records welcomes a producer who is, in comparison to the circle of minimal producers, quite a young one but even though an old stager in the biz:
Since 1994, Philipp Wolgast from Hamburg is DJ in great demand. Within his former successful carreer as Progressive & Trance DJ, he played gigs all over the world. But anyway he decided to leave the Trance-Jet-Set behind and started to produce Minimal Techno on his own five years ago..
The first results of his trip into the world of reduced beats got released on Kompass Musik, followed by a respectable feedback right to the bat. After his further release on Eminor Records he now makes his debut on ALPACA RECORDS.
As Phillip isnt trying to fit in or please anyone, Rudimental and Prognostication were surely not intended to be consensus tracks. His productions are more characterized by recited subtle acoustic stories, that are intuitively adjusted into an arrangement but are both fully capable to kill some last brain cells at afterhours as well as to rock the floor though.
Supported by a pretty rude squeaking Format:B Rudimental remix this record will surely make the crowd hobble all through the fucking discotheque!
