I am a writer.
For a long time I told people that. Their response was usually, "Really? What do you write?" If I felt like a smartass, I'd reply with "Words mostly," because otherwise I didn't have much of an answer. The truth was, I was writing ads for Kmart, so it wasn't all that glamorous.
Eventually, I decided that, in order to tell people I was a writer, I needed to actually be a writer. In order to do that, I needed to write.
So I did.
Now I am a writer. My latest release will be a story in Read By Dawn Volume III, out on May 29.
I am also the punkmusic writer for about.com, and a bit of a blogger, too. You can call me that. It's not a dirty word.
Additionally I am a mountain biker. I am a drinker of wine, an eater of cheese, a lover of all things that don't seriously suck, and an excellent griller of meats.
I am fairly clever, but I do fall down sometimes.
I can be a snappy dresser when I want to be. Usually I prefer to be a bum.
I have a dog, a cat, and a wife and we live in a happy little bungalow next to a seriously white trash family.
