First off I have to I have to say . . . wow . . . you actually read this part?? ^_^ Nice! Okay moving on . . . oh wait you might want to grab a drink this could take awhile.

I used to have some crap on here about how I was always the friend you could lean on . . . and it was true, but it was also from about 10 years ago. It's also only my own opinion of myself. An opinion that quite frankly I don't know if I trust. :-P Soooo . . . if I am not going to use that then what the hell do I put in here?? Good question. I think it would probably be far more informative if my friends were to tell you what I was like. Only problem with that plan though is that while I have made a few really good friends on here, they probably don't know me well enough to comfortably describe me. You could go through my blog and read some of the 1001 surveys I've done. I doubt your that bored though!

Watch out for this Chris guy! He will make you laugh and you will feel comfortable with his quiet humor then all of a sudden out a no where BAM some blog that you think will be funny and you spend ten minutes watching a show about atomic mass and the wave theory and when it is over you feel all confused because your like..."hey that wasn't funny...ack I learned something unwillingly!" Seriously though he is one of my best buds to hang out with see movies and always ready to try some freaky new restaurant with me...Cheers to Chris! :)

I'm a private, quiet person most of the time. Unless of course I am hammered. ^_^ Which doesn't happen often. I've been called a "Watcher" . . . which can either be mysterious and cool or weird and creepy depending how you look at it. When I am in a crowd of people. (5 or more) I tend to fade into the background and listen, instead of talking a lot. Especially if I don't know the people well. The only reason I can come up with for this is that somewhere in my head is a little person telling me that if I don't open my mouth, I can't make a complete ass of myself. :-P He's a very annoying little man.

I've noticed that for some reason my life is very compartmentalized. For instance I am friends with the people at work . . . but I don't hang out with them. I spend quite a bit of time online, but don't talk about it except with friends I've met online, mostly because they are the only ones who know what the hell I am talking about. :-P My family has no real idea what I do during the week. And there are many things about me that no one knows. Is this all normal?? I have no idea. I can tell you though that if you are still reading this, you probably already know me better than 80% of my friends and family.

Moving on . . .

Science kicks ass. I love science. Physics of any kind is terribly cool . . . astro, planetary, quantum . . . I was just reading an article in Scientific American (April '06) called The Mysterious Origins of Solar Flares. High energy x-rays, coronal mass ejections, magnetic reconnections. Cool shit man! ^_^ The next article is called Computng With Quantum Knots: A machine based on bizarre particles called anyons that represents a calculation as a set of braids in spacetime. WTF?? Heh heh. I love this shit. Anything that has to do with cutting edge science and technology I am usually interested in. Biology and medicine are cool too but don't hold my interest as much. I wanted to be an Astronomer when I was little. Not sure how I ended up a Draftsman. :-P

You still awake?? Wow . . . persistant aren't you. ^_^

I also love to read. For magazines, Science, tech and videogame magazines mostly. When it comes to books I usually stick to the Fantasy genre, although I dig into some Sci-Fi now and again. And yes I've read the DaVinci Code. Loved it! ^_^ Liked Angels & Demons better though. After reading it I went looking for ambigrams on the web and found my own name. ^_^

If you turn it upside down it still says my name! How fricken cool is that??

I don't know what else to tell ya. I could probably keep writing but this thing is long enough already . . . and this isn't a blog entry. :-P If you want to get to know me better then send me a message and we'll see what happens.
