Jazz-meets-funk, tweaked with shades of Beck-like rants by way of Vox Humana. Can you dig it? It's just as funky, with a tight punch and stellar musicianship at an accessible level usually ignored by the genre. Everything is wide open here, with soaring guitar solos, funkalicious rhythms and actual melody lines that banter from player to player as they pass solo efforts to and fro.
