    2004 - current. Alps is the solo project of Chris Hearn from country New South Wales, Australia. .... Alps has released 10 recordings on vinyl, cd and tape formats through a variety of labels internationally, including the concept records 'Cycles', 'The Origin of Species', and 'Alps of the World' (each song recorded in a different country), a variety of singles and splits, and the conceptual trilogy of albums 'Alps of New South Wales', Alps of New South Whales', and 'Alps of New South Wails', which is currently in the recording phase. Alps has had the pleasure of performing hundreds of shows across Australia, New Zealand, the United States and Europe, on at least five international tours. He has recently shared tours with Castanets (US) and Zack Kouns (US), and has shared stages with the likes of Six Organs of Admittance (US), Animal Collective (US), Xiu Xiu (US), Wolf Eyes (US), Abe Vigoda (US), The Radio Dept (SWE), Robin Guthrie (ex Cocteau Twins). ....
