Alpesh started his musical journey few years back but seem to be carried since ages. From his tender age he was fascinated by Rhythms sounds but when he saw "TABLA" it was love at first sight for the instrument and the sound itself. He was always attracted by the ancient traditional art form, as it always tried to speak something in his ear through music.
He is lucky and blessed to be get trained under Guru Shri Sudhirkumar Saxena who is considered to be the doyen of Ajarada Gharana. And Being getting trained in Guru Shishya parampara (The lineage of teacher to disciple) he also completed his Master's in Music (India) & now a days doing research on Rhythmic patterns (UK).
He has played solo and accompanied many senior artiste and participated in many Music Festival in India and UK. To name few are Uk Drum Fest, GW festival, World music festival, Northampton Festival and many more... Performed at BBC RADIO on various events.Being Indian and trained in Indian classical music he has played in many musical forms like Jazz, African music, Electro music, Rock and folk music...
Currently he is involved in Teaching and performing activites in UK. And started project called "AAVARTAN" specially designed for Indian-Western Percussion fusion Music for Schools/ Colleges across UK.
And looking forward meet & work with professional musician/Artiste on a Global Music platform all across the world.
