Al-Rashid was born in Lybia, the cousin of Maumar Gadaffi. At a young age he met his best friend, only known as "The D Man." Rashid and The D Man became entranced with American hip hop music, and the pair released their first album, "The Mean Streets of Lybia." Unfortunatley with lyrics like "I'm eating steak, I control the oil, the people suffer and wait for water to boil," the record received poor reviews, and was rejected by most Lybian listeners. The duo however struck gold with their second album "Al-Rashid: Hip Hop Vandal." After his single "The Alyehaleyahleyahelayehalyeah Song" made it to number one on the lybian charts, it stayed there for over a year. Strangly enough, it was the only song on the charts at all. Accepting the title of Arab Rapping Superstar, Rashid travled the world challenging MC's. On a tour spot in South Florida, Al-Rashid and The D Man met three German Nihilists who were members of the group Autohbahn. The Five men became close friends, and after Rashid was exiled from Lybia on pains of death, he began touring with Autobahn. Rashid fell in love with their up beat techno songs, and offered to manage the band. Autobahn graciously accepted.
