MySpace a place for friends

You start having a normal life. You understand that everything you want to do is to live with science, because you learned writing digits and multiplying numbers before you could read a single letter. At school you are good, good grades, professors think you will be a scientist and you are happy. Your father falls asleep when watching a theatre show with your mother and he passes you his ticket for the next representation. It's a classic. More, it's a classic revisited in some kind of modern way. Some people even leave the theatre, because they find it boring. You stay there the whole show staring at the main actor, impressed. It's the first time you see someone acting, standing at no more than thirty feet from you. Your grades at school are always the same, you start high school, knowing you'll never stop and go to the university in Zurich, to become an engineer. You cross a checkbox which says "Theatrical Activity", telling your mother that there is no way you will act on a stage. But you do. It feels good, the group is nice and your acting sucks. You feel like your legs are made of lead, you're embarassed. Nevertheless, you continue the next year, and you invite your friends to join the group. It feels better. Damn better. You're melting the ice. It's a play consisting of five episodes. You get the main role in two of them. It is a success, people that don't know you stop you at school and say "Hey dude, you are great!". What happened in one year, you don't know. What you know is that science is still easy, but it is not fun anymore. Fun is acting. You continue, other two years of main roles, so many things to remember, so easy. High school comes to an end. Everybody is expecting you to go to the university. And so you do. Frustrating, yes, but you do. Because you have too much of a brain deciding, your heart will shut up. No, it does not. You continue to pass exams, because every exam is a challenge, you can not fail. You don't. But you start planing something with one of your best friends. To go to the States after the school and start acting. Aim for the moon. If you miss, you may hit a star, someone said. Now you are here, and the dream is still there. A crazy dream someone says. But the one who says so, is the same person who shares that dream. Let's accept this new challenge.
