A writer, director and actor, I specialise in physical theatre. Using masks, mime, puppets, silly word play and physical high jinks I aim to bring a smile to as many people as I can by whatever the means.
About me: I have quite tufty hair growing on the bridge of my nose.
I like music.
It makes me happy.
I play the banjo.
I am alergic to cats. Which is annoying.
I like books.

Orphax (NL) vs TVO (UK) live set DJ Hex
This week's Pre-Op brings you a special collaborative set on turntables and laptops from Netherlands based Sietse van Erve, aka Orphax (Verato Project/Cut Hands), and Glasgow's The Village Orchestra (Stuff Records/Highpoint Lowlife/Accrual). Using vocals and found sounds as source material, expect dark drone based textures and some noise interludes for good measure. Orphax has released several highly limited cd-rs on respected noise outlets Cut Hands and Verato Project and performed alongside the likes of Mitchell Akiyama and Janek Schaefer. The Village Orchestra is also known as a member of electronica outfit The Marcia Blaine School For Girls, and as well as several solo releases records drone guitar work as part of Accrual on Static Caravan, Unlabel and Diesel Combustible.
DJ Hex brings along the wrist restraints and horse tranquilisers.
Loved the facial hair slideshow. I tried it as well, notably with disasterous results and ended up with a moustache not unlike Freddy Mercury's. RIP. What is keeping you busy big Al? Check out my primary one photo. A good few faces you'll remember!
Ello squire. Just dropping a quickie. How's life in the far northern fishy bits of island life? Have you found the local tavern keeper's daughter flexing her buttocks against your badly plastered walls? Or is it all a bit placid?
Just thought I'd drop you a line to say hello. Hope all is well on the Isle of Mull - I am insanely jealous of you being in such a beautiful part of Scotland when I'm not even in Scotland at all...and won't be for quite a few months yet. Not even going to make Edinburgh this year, argh! Are you performing this year?
Anyhoo, all's good in New Zealand and I get to watch lots of movies and listen to lots of music for free with work, so I can't complain really :)
hey how are things on the isle of mull? do you drinke mulled mullberry wine while mulling over your mullet? let's talk soon...i'll be in your country this summer.
On Good Friday between 4 - 6pm BST (GMT+1), and to celebrate my 35th Birthday i will be taking part in the biggest so far Eilidh Daily Ukelele Ceilidh in George Square, Glasgow.

Salutations sir and thanks for getting me that 10 year old footage. Brought me back. I had some of the most cherised memories from school and didn't really want to leave at the time. Ah, memories. Thanks. I'll keep it with the 95/96 yearbook at the house! Hope you are well big guy.
Alright good sir? Just watched the DVD, many thanks by the way, was absolutely insane to see everyone! So many people I’d forgot about! My hair do was not a highlight, ha! It was fashionable at the time, honest!
Anyway, Need to start getting sorted, off the see the mighty Mogwai at the Royal Albert Hall on Friday, then flying back on sat to see them at the barras on the sat with the one and only Andy Lynn.
Cheers again!
Many salutations Mr Satchell. Hope things are well with you. I am fine. Going back to work on Monday after having a few days off. Say, you don't still have that footage from our 6th year at school? I'd be keen to get a look agaon at it. Memories and all that. Cheers bud.
