Altamadum is a old fashioned Rock N Roll band based in the Thunder Bay area. In 2006 Lead Guitarist Cam Thomas and drummer Brendan Byers hooked up and started laying down some instrumental tracks. After a few months the two wanted to get a little more serious about their music and went in search of a bass player. After a few trial runs with some close friends the band finally found their man in James Cole. Realizing that they weren't going anywhere without a lead vocalist, Cole suggested Joey Parker for the position as well as Rhythm Guitarist, and by March 2007 the band was formed. They immediately started working on cover songs by some of their Rock Idols, and soon began writing their own songs. In December 2007 at Westgate High School, Altamadum played together for the first time in front of a crowd. Since then the band has put a few more gigs under their belts.
Altamadum has gone on to write many of their own songs including Lets Move, No Promises, Woman, and Long Live Rock 'N Roll.
