OPENING CEREMONY TO BE PERFORMED BY ANTHONY GARGIULA---ELLEN DEGENERES' AMERICAN IDOL SEASON 7 CORRESPONDENT!! Gargiula a Glens Falls native is also the youngest performer to sing at Carnegie Hall, has sang the National Anthem at two Knicks Games, at the Belmont Stakes and also at Boston Bruins hockey games. 9-year old Anthony's impressive resume doesn't end there either. He was a finalist on the CBS Early Show's "Living Room Live" in January of 2007! COME SEE THIS STAR ON THE RISE TUESDAY AUGUST 11TH @ 7PM IN THE GRANDSTAND!

Don't forget, You can still enter the Miss Altamont Fair Pageant. The deadline is Aug. 8th. If you are 5-21 you could be the next Miss Altamont Fair. Can't wait to see you at the pageant.
