Since their demo release in 2008 Altars have created a stir in the Australian Death Metal underground, receiving positive reviews and tightening their skills alongside Cannibal Corpse [USA], Portal [AUS], Ulcerate [NZ], Mournful Congregation [AUS], Dismember [SWE], Grave [SWE] amongst others. Removed from the muddy exterior present on their demo release, Altars’ contribution, “Nepenthe… Sepulcher” to the Tzun Tzu/ Altars Split, demonstrates the bands capabilities and promises a far more sinister and unrelenting entity to come as the band now focus on completing tracks for their debut full length TBA. .. ..Altars.. is..
