About me:
Kami Chisholm, founder of Altcinema.com, holds a Ph.D. in History of Consciousness from UC Santa Cruz and is a graduate of Loyola Marymount's Film Production department. FtF: Female to Femme (2006), Chisholm's first feature documentary, is available from Frameline Distribution. Recently, Chisholm produced and co-edited the festival hit "Godspeed" (2007) (co-directed by Lynn Breedlove and Jen Gilomen). Chisholm is also the director of 10 short films, including "The Insomniacs" (2008), a butch-femme romantic comedy, and "Sigmund Freud: Professional Psychoanalyst" (2005), an animated short featuring a puppet Freud. Currently, Chisholm teaches feminist/queer/race theory, sexuality studies, and visual culture at California College of the Arts .
