Altercation was a Phoenix AZ based punk band that played in the early to late 90s. We played a lot of live shows with a lot of different bands, and it was always something we as a band looked forward too. The band unfortunately broke up several years ago however. We recorded an album in 1997 I believe at some random dudes studio. unfortunately the CD never saw the light of day due to who the hell knows, We were punk rockers what the fuck did we know about releasing a CD. Well for those who never got a chance I have some good news. I"m painfully re mastering the original studio recording For all the altercation fans that never got a chance to hear it. and for those who have yet to hear it. keep in mind the tape itself I had to pull the tracks off was in terrible shape. Some parts are just not able to be repaired, Due to damage on the original. But all in all it is pretty god damn good for a 10+ year old studio tape. And the music itself fucking rocks, I cant say anything else. It is what punk rock should be. Loud, Angry and fast You can really hear the crust core influence come through, I would say somewhat similar to Antishism, Filth, Dirt you know real punk. Not that pussy ass green day shit that MTV said was punk back in the day. Anyways hope you all enjoy. There will be more tracks added daily until I have finished the whole thing.
