Jon Clairmonte - Lead/Rhythm Guitar & Lead And Harmony Vocals, Unfortunately had to leave in September 2007 due to acting committments, has appeared in the Bill in January '08 and was recently on a second part of an Eva Cassidy 'tribute' tour co-starring with ex-steps singer Faye Tozer. We wish him well and great success in the future and hope he will not be a stranger and come and see us play when he can.

We are 'Alter Ego' a four piece harmony covers band who have been together for nearly five years now. All four of us are experienced musicians who have built up a substantial repertoire( see current blog!) catering for most musical tastes, rock 'n roll, ballads, sixties, reggae, blues, soul, rock and more up to date songs. We have played at a wide range of venues, private functions, summer fayres, pubs, clubs,weddings, hotels and castles. They recently recorded a cd of covers of which the great original artists are: Neil Young, Steve Harley/Cockney Rebel, Crowded House, Eric Clapton, James Blunt + Bob Marley.

Steve Dawson - Steve has played in numerous bands since his teens and after moving to Sussex, He was in a very busy band for over ten years called 'Horizon' with Barry from 1992 to 2002.He has experienced playing in front of an audience of over ten thousand people and has recording experience. Gear: Currently plays Fender guitars with Laney amplification. a Sure SM58 mic, tortex and bareknuckle plectrums 1.14mm and I use rotosound strings. My cables are a mix of Cleartone, Fender, Planet Waves and I use Korg, BBE, DHA, T-Rex and Visual sound effects pedals + A Taylor Big Baby Acoustic
Clint Butcher - Clint has played in Big Yellow Taxi, a Worthing based band. He was with them for about 4 years then left to join a band in Chichester doing original material again. Left them after 2 years and joined a band called Quebec with our bass player Keith. Has recording experience. Gear: a Yamaha CPX5 electro acoustic, a Zoom A2.1u Multi Effects Unit, Fender Telecaster and Laney World series 60R amp.Two Sure SM58 Mics
Keith Wilson - Keith is probably the most experienced of the Band, having played in many bands, including a band called 'Quebec', not only in the United Kingdom but also in Europe as well.Has recording experience. He did the first design and logo for the 1st cd in 2005 and now has just completed a great logo etc for the new cd. an American Fender Deluxe Precision Bass going through a Trace Elliot 150 Watt Bass Combo + a Zoom B2.1u Bass Multi Effects Unit. A Sure SM58 Mic is used
for vocals etc.
Barry Taylor - Apart from others:'Influence', 'Memory Lane', 'Freebird', Barry has played in two other major Bands in the last twenty years, 'Mixed Spice', and 'Horizon' for ten and a half years with Steve. Has recording experience. Gear: Red Mapex M-Birch kit, Remo black drumheads, Zildjan, Paiste and Rogers cymbals.RhythmTech and Premier Percussion, Zildjian 7A DIP and Ahead Drumsticks. The Band freshen up the repertoire(see blog!) regularly, rehearsing at Barry's place, working hard, but also having a laugh along the way.
