About Alter Ego

It all started back in '97 in Al's home studio. John (BIG MAN) Satre, Al (DOC) Nielson and Brian Cartwright came together to form "Alter Ego". With ambitions of becoming Bozeman’s premier local act we began putting together an eclectic mix of cover songs that would keep people on the dance floor. Along with "Heartfelt and Powerful" original songs, witch is ultimately what we love and strive to achieve, we began to feel a true unity with each other. Over the years the band's make up of members has morphed many times but the foundation and drive was never lost. Witch brings us to our present line-up of six dedicated members. We all have a great time playing music together and this totally comes through on stage. Alter Ego Still manages to maintain its creative approach to writing new music (never stop writing!) and bringing fun new cover songs to our shows
