Back behind the decks since Spring 2007. Never planned this, but a friend of mine runs one of the best clubs in Second Live, called Trash Palace. Playing there and in several other Clubs all over SL. If u r a SLish, search for my group. It's called A8M8 and sign up to be informed about my DJ activities.
Best thing about SL is the crowd. U can play whatever u like. There is always someone who loves the sound. I'm playing what they call Techhouse these days mixed with Acid House, but only in the beginning of my normally 4 to 6 hours lasting sets. As I'm DJing for ages now, I have an amazing record collection at home (Self-praise is no recommendation btw), which gives me the chance to play various styles, from the beginning of Acid House (I love Stakka - Humanoid) to Altern8 (of cause lol) and the Prodigy, to Trance and Acid from the early 90s, over to Techno of the middle of the 90s and so on. U'll never know what to expect in a set of mine, I don't know either what will be played.
And no, I've got nothing to do with Altern8 , my heroes from the early 90s. If I knew it before that people will always ask me that question, I would have chosen another name for SL , but it already took me one hour as all the names I wanted were gone. I will post some mixes of mine from time to time, so feel free to have a look here. And if I'll ever figure out to modify this damned myspace page I will change the design as well.
