As you may or may not be aware SoundARC hold a charity gig every year at Club 85 in Hitchin in aid of the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, and this year we are going to try something a little different from previous years.
This year we are going to take over the club and host 37 acts in one weekend putting full bands upstairs and acoustic acts downstairs in an event that we are calling ARCfest!
It all starts on Friday 4th December at 7pm and then continues on through Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th from 12pm-11pm
As well as raising money for the Garden House Hospice in Letchworth, ARCfest will showcase all the different genres of bands that we at SoundARC have come across over the last 4 and a half years. Over this weekend a lot of the acts that you will see don’t get a chance to play a great local venue like Club 85, So as well as hearing new music you will see all manors of genres and styles from acoustic - Metal - Indie - Rock - Punk - Electro - Ska - Funk - Hip Hop/Rap - Alternative - Rhythm & Blues - Reggae - Grunge and loads more that I cant remember!
i trust you'll be attending our Buzz Club gig in Brighton on the 19th December? it's right up your pipes. loud music, free entry. You haven't seen us in ages, so you're not really hot on the excuses. Get there and i'll ruffle your feathers, you bunch of dirty peacocks.
Ooo yeah that was a little fruity, sadly we’ve already posted it on Facebook, Twitter, BBC News and the Traders Union homepage. It's far too late now... We'll commit some god awful Tubthumpin' crime in a vastly public place as amends
£leTriKa sounds completely different from any Metal band you have ever heard. The Brazilian rhythms and the Portuguese language added to the songs makes its style unique, giving birth to a new kind of Metal. If you are really looking for something new about Metal, you should check £leTriKa out!
Hugs from Brazil, Claudio David

Valeu demais a força! Quando rolaumtempinho, me fala o que achou da £leTriKa. Agente junta Metal com umasparada Brasileira. Tamutendumbom feed nas rádios gringas nos quatrocontos. Mantenha contato, blz?
Well, as I'm assuming that this is Mark because the others wouldn't dare call me a ladyboylady (I'll deal with that comment separately and in length via the medium of violence) I will indeed e-mail you some pictures of the man later.
We could trick him and get him to pose. I'm surprised and proud to announce that there was no hangover at all on Sunday and I'm not sure why-I feel like I should have put more effort in but I did drink continuously so I tried!
Off to Italy tmrw but back in the evening (and have finished speech!) so will speak to you later in the week. You're a scoundrel x
Thank you for playing on Saturday, much appreciated. Have a look at our blog for the review and links to the photos/videos which are either done or on their way.
See you soon,
Catherine x
I would like to add to these sentiments that you are all lovely. Insane, but lovely.
okay, thanks for the advice ! i'm going to get the biggest massive flag in existance ! although i have some glow in the dark spray paint, maybe i will paint my tent and then well ... it will glow
We are finally getting the first issue of our 'zine sorted and have setup a forum to go with it's impending release in December.
Both the 'zine and the forum are for more than just music (although that is a big part of what we're about), we will be covering art, film, books, in fact pretty much anything and everything that is underground or alternative.
Have a look at the forum, sign up, start promoting your projects, band, writing, etc and join in the discussions.
yay, awesome ! i really hate onions, they're so horrible. did you camp last year ? i'm going to this time but i'm scared of forgetting where my tent is
