ALTERNATIVE RADIO

Brothers Rob and Alan Fennah formed the band 'Alternative Radio' in 1981 and have released several albums in the UK. Their most recent release in 2005 entitled ‘Subject To Status’ featured the ‘Unisong’ award winner ‘Yesterdays Man’.

In the late 90’s, the brothers set up their own record & production company ‘Pulse’ and write original compositions for Television, Film, Theatre and the Pop Industry.

In 2004 the Fennah brothers wrote and produced the smash hit musical play ‘Twopence to Cross the Mersey’. Based on the best selling autobiography by Helen Forrester. In 2005, 'Twopence' made Clearchannel's  No1 position in its 'Top 10 Selling shows in the UK'.

Rob & Alan are currently putting the finishing touches to an original screenplay entitled,
‘Julia’s Banjo’. The film will feature 12 original songs including 'Yesterdays Man' ( As featured here).

Dec 2 2007 3:10 PM

Good Cause Music will be putting on its charity fund raising gig this Thursday the 6th Dec in aid of Claire House Children's Hospice and Cancer Research UK at Jack Rabbit Slims in Hoylake. It prommises to be a fun filled night with live music from Insanity Beach, Resuss and Filter House together with a raffle and fun from Buzz Fm Djs. The night will also be filmed by Merseyside Film and Tv Productions and runs from 7 pm to 1 am. Admission is by donation of at least £3.00 on the door but if you feel like giving a bit more for a good cause then any extra would be most welcome. This will be a great night out while helping charity and get you in the mood for christmas so please all get down there and support the night.

Thank you so much for the add. I am an old Buster fan and have known about Alternative Radio from early 80’s, when I received a post card from Buster fan club – sadly, it was the last news from them. I did not know how to contact you for long time, but finally I found Pulse HP last summer. I’ve got all your CDs and thought they are fantastic! I look forward to your upcoming album very much!! Best wishes, Yoshi
