About me:

Alt fashion was created to cater for those more unique & creative individuals. Those who dress creatively, individually & differently from the rest.

The original site concept was to create a UK web version of Shoichi Aoki's "fruits", taking a snapshot of UK alternative style but the idea soon expanded into what you see today; a UK alternative fashion based website & non-profit printed magazine.

The staff aim to promote UK companies & designers whether they are an independant company, a diy designer, a small alternative chain store or a webstore. As well as showing our love & appreciation for fabulously dressed folks in the UK.

Alt fashion is the 'brainchild' of Leona who runs the website(s) & magazine with the help of her contributors. The site idea came about as part of a final project at uni but since graduating 3 years ago I've fully re-vamped & changed the concept of the site expanding it to include the directory which links to hundreds of UK alternative companies, designers & boutiques.
