Founded in 2001 by ARTSPACE, Alt.Music Festival is now organised by an independent committee under the auspices of the Audio Foundation. Alt.Music is a vital injection of contemporary sound art dialogue for New Zealand. It provides local practitioners and audiences for cutting-edge audio culture with direct access to, interaction with and experience of the latest currents in sound making.
