The Midnight Rock n Roll Circus! Every Saturday midnight :D
About me: "For a brief time, it seems like rock n roll would take over the earth." - From the original liner notes to The Rolling Stones Rock n Roll Circus.
In 1968, the original Rolling Stones (Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Bill Wyman, Charlie Watts and Brian Jones) came together in public for the very last time. Staying up two nights and a day with good pals The Who, Jethro Tull with Tony Lommi (Black Sabbath), John Lennon and Yoko Ono, Marianne Faithful, Eric Clapton and Taj Mahal, they filmed the legendary Rock n Roll Circus!
With circus performers a la the Exile on Main St cover performing in between songs and Mick Jagger dressed as ringmaster, the show celebrated noise, craziness and the unexpected. It is in this spirit that BiCurious George and Sister Sin Present Alt TV's Midnight Rock n Roll Circus!
Tune in any and every Saturday night just around midnight to see Sister Sin, BiCurious George and a host of stunning and shocking guest stars including the strange mixture of innocence and filth (and boobs!) of the lovely Mutiny; Heroin Hannah's laid back New York stylings and incredibly toned legs; the possibly evil and definitely wayward Fionatron; Evil Jussy's startling boot collection; delectable members of the Vulgar Latin Burlesque Troop; the reluctantly buxom Popsicle; and Freak Boy in more costumes than you'd dare shake a stick at the owner of...
You'll hear the Stones and the Beatles, with a little bit of The Doors, Pink Floyd, Led Zeppelin, Jimi Hendrix, The Kinks, David Bowie, The Who, Velvet Underground, Jefferson Airplane, Iggy Pop, The Clash, Johnny Cash, The Animals, Cream, The Sex Pistols etc... GOOD OLD FASHIONED ROCK N ROLL!!! But rock n roll isn't dead, so look out for some newer tracks by The White Stripes, Revolver, Deja Voodoo, Meat-Bix, old school Placebo, The Raconteurs, Peaches, The New York Dolls, Horrorpops, Murder by Death, Garbage, Melissa Auf Der Maur, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds, Nirvana, The Sisters of Mercy... And anything else which captures our clouded imaginations!
Who I'd like to meet: GOD (aka Keith Richards)
