About me: This year we have: MEN'S: MARYLAND...VIRGINIA...TOWSON...NCAA All-Starz (random conglomerate of dudes who wanted to play) battling it out!! The Women Alumni will be out there too!! The goal of this tournament is provide Alumni, both players and fans, an opportunity to get back together, strap on the pads, play some lacrosse, catch up with some old friends and raise some money for certain organizations that do great things for the community and the greater good. This year the proceeds go to Genesee Valley Outdoor Learning Center, a 501 (c)(3) non-profit who serves the community at large throughout Maryland and other surrounding states. It's places like Genesee Valley that help make our world a better place to live in. Another portion of the proceeds will go to the Dick Edell Gift Trust. This is a fund set up to help "Big Man" afford some of the costs associated with his illness. Big Man is an icon for the Maryland Lacrosse program and those who know him or played for him know what an extrodinary person Coach Edell is.
