Alvaro Rosales is a composer/guitarist who graduated Magna Cum Laude from Berklee College of Music (Fall '06), with a major in Film Scoring.
During his time in Berklee, he had the opportunity to study with the best teachers in the field, all of whom immediately recognized Alvaro's talent.
While at Berklee, Alvaro had the opportunity to apply everything he learned by writing music for commercials, video game trailers, documentaries, scenes from t.v shows such as X-Files, Cupid, Alias, Six Feet Under and composed a score for the short film "Blue City". He also experienced the role as music editor building the music tracks for an X-Files episode and building a Tracked Score for the animated short film "More". He recorded and conducted his music on several occasions in the Berklee Film Scoring Studio, where he gained even more experience as a serious film composer. All this background makes Alvaro a perfect candidate for all kinds of jobs in the film scoring industry that require talent, experience and a high level of musicianship.
As a guitarist, Alvaro has been a private student of two of the greatest guitarists of all times: David "Fuze" Fiucynski and David Tronzo. Alvaro also studied with renowed guitar instructors Jim Kelly and Bruce Bartlett, besides taking many guitar labs and ensembles with these and other great teachers.
Recently, Alvaro established his own production house called "Film Score Booth", which specializes in scoring music to Film and T.V. Alvaro is also currently accepting positions as composer, orchestrator, copyist, programmer, music editor or assistant to established composers in the industry.
