ON THE BIBLE
How am I with the Holy Spriptures translated into English? Sometimes, I admit, I struggle a bit with that. But aside from my own experience, it's all I got! So for those of you who believe (or even for those who may not believe, if you feel up to it) here is the verse of the day:

Welcome to the official myspace page (Schyeah! As if someone else out there is conterfeiting it) of Alvin Zamudio, artist and missionary of the redemption of humanity by the Great Spirit of God, through the loving sacrifice of his only Son (sounds official, eh? I'm just tired of all the other words, I guess). Anyway, I have been writing music since I was in high school. I am now a man of some age with one advantage in my writing: experience. I never valued so much before, but you just can't beat it. I am also a Christian minister, but that is a dangerous thing to let people know, since we tend to glorify titles and positions and so many have smutted the Name of God and screwed things up for honest Believers who can admit they screw up without making excuses or subscribing to doctrine to justify it. So, yeah. I'm a "rev". But let's not make a big deal out of that one, shall we? Thanks. If you do want more info, though... you can write me or read my blog.
ON MUSIC
I am currently composing a couple of new styles of electronic dance music under the moniker Titus Elektro, and will be uploading my non-dance music to this page for something different. So, for those of you who have been crabbing at me to get back to lyrics and more of my original style, this Bud's for you. Now you can get off my case.
ON MINISTRY
I am adenominational. That is, "without" denomination; I do not believe they exist and all who know God are one. A better word would be "catholic" which means universal, but somebody already took that one. To me, it is one God, one Way and one Church. And since God, who is our Great Father, lives within us, we each individually as well as collected are the Father's House.
I am currently seeking to deepen my understanding of how God redeems us not only spiritually, but emotionally as well. When it comes to the Western Church, I must admit I am quite cynical because I have been through a lot, but I am honest and teachable as well. My firm belief is that organized religion exists, but it is mostly organized by God, not Man. His work in the churches is often unseen and thankfully, often out of Man's control. The book of Acts says that God "added daily...those who were being saved". Our marketing efforts and the like, trying to grow our churches out of desperation and fear simply stink of burial clothes not removed at our resurrection. We need major healing in that area. A few other thoughts: Christian men often struggle with thinking too much of ourselves and become dangerous to weaker sheep and those who are yet to belong to God. Large churches among other great things may offer a much needed anonymity, but only house churches provide essential intimacy. Small groups are house churches to me, and their leaders are pastors no matter what is said. To me, "pastor" is not a title, it's a job description.
That's enough on that for now...I need more education!
For those of you who may wonder, I make my living in any way I can, but a majority of my talents often fall toward the arts and ministry. I am currently working odd graphic jobs, selling my music and other creative ideas online and the like to pay the bills, but charging people for the time I use to minister to them is a muddy sinkhole nowadays and many of us part and full timers get a lot of crud about this and go through a lot of suffering as a result. That being said, the "Make a Donation" button down below is for people who want to support me, my wife and my family financially in my work for God because they believe in what I do and that my family needs to eat, too. Please don't give me any grief over this. I am not trying to coax anyone into giving. It's there just in case. And for the record, it is only for people who claim Christ and is not expected of anyone else under any circumstances. That's all I got to say about that.

Hey Alvin, How are things? I just left Portland, ME and now am in Tampa, FL. I'm enjoying the traveling nurse gig. I'll probably do it for awhile. I like meeting new people and seeing different cities. How's the baby. You need to put some new pics up of your beautiful fam:)
