Rammstein (especially Reise Reise), At the Gates (do i need to say it?), Bolt Thrower (all albums but check out the killchain on cd), Devin Townsend (biomech), Sepultura (up till max left), Slayer (fav is divine intervention), Paradise Lost (until it turned into pop, best are shades/icon/draconian), Rb Zombie (Dragula), Loudblast, Samael (rebellion), Death, Lamb of God, AC/DC, Burzum, Napalm Death (fear,emptiness,despair/torn apart) Satyricon (especially dark medievil times), Machine Head (especially 1st 2 albums), Malevolent Creation, Entombed (especially ride, shoot straight), Ozzy (ozzmosis), Motorhead, Sacred Reich, Onslaught (in search of sanity) etc...

I specialise in producing all styles of Rock, but seem to be best at Metal...
My personal goals in terms of my work are to produce albums that
1- sound massive
2- are tailored to the artist and sub-genre
3- meet the requirements of the bill-payer
4- still sounds like a real band playing, not a fake 'computer playback'
I usually work best alone (the band, pro tools HD and me) but i can work well within a team if the project requires it.
My producing approach depends on the band I'm working with. If a band knows exactly what they want, I'll get them the sound that they're looking for and only make a suggestion when i feel that something isn't working. If a band are unsure of what they want, I'm very comfortable taking the reins and helping them to discover what they want. I'm told i have the patience of a saint.
I also have a lot of experience recording choirs, brass bands, strings etc... so this aspect of a rock/metal production is easily covered if necessary, I have all the gear i need for this.
